Accreditation for Acupuncture Course: Accreditation for Acupuncture Course: This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the Joint Sponsorship of the Institute for Medical Studies (IMS) and Academy of Pain Research. IMS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. IMS designates this education activity for a maximum of 300 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Accreditation for Herbal Medicine Course: This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint Sponsorship of the Institute for Medical Studies (IMS) and Academy of Pain Research. IMS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
IMS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 250 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This course consists of 300 hours of study. Of the total, 250 hours meet the AMA definition of CME, while 50 hours have not been designated for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

Withdrawal: Only written notification of withdrawal is accepted. Postmarked before March 15, 2012: Full refund less $100.00 processing fee. On or after March 16, 2012: 10% administrative charge. On or after April 16, 2012: No refund, there will be no exceptions. For good cause and with timely written notification, attendance of courses may be deferred to 2013 with 10% administrative charge. Please refer to Conference Rules upon registration.
Hotels: Exceptional convention rates: For Radisson Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf (250 Beach Street, San Francisco, CA 94133) of $149 single or double, book by 5/15/12 for Acupuncture Phase 1, by 8/7/12 for Herbal Medicine Course and by 9/26/12 for Acupuncture Phase 2. Contact Academy of Pain research (1-888-882-1330), or call Radisson reservation (1-877-497-1212), or through a reservation link to be provided upon registration, to secure this special rate. After these cutoff dates, rooms will be at market rate on a space available basis.
Recording: Audio, video recording and photography during the sessions will not be permitted.
