Accreditation for Acupuncture Course: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Counsel for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of  Oakstone Medical Publishing and the Academy of Pain Research. Oakstone Medical Publishing is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Oakstone Medical Publishing designates this educational activity for the maximum of 300 AMA Physician's Recognition Award Category I credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Accreditation for Herbal Medicine Course: This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint Sponsorship of the Institute of Medical Studies (IMS) and Academy of Pain Research. IMS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
IMS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 200 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This course consists of 275 hours of study. Of the total, 200 hours meet the AMA definition of CME, while 75 hours have not been designated for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

Withdrawal: Only written notification of withdrawal is accepted. Postmarked before March 15, 2008: Full refund less $100.00 processing fee. On or after March 16, 2008: 10% administrative charge. On or after April 16, 2008: No refund, there will be no exceptions. For good cause and with timely written notification, attendance of courses may be deferred to 2009 with 18% administrative charge. Please refer to Conference Rules upon registration.
Hotels: Exceptional convention rates: For Sheraton Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf of $133 single or double, book by 5/18/08 for Acupuncture Phase 1, by 8/11/08 for Herbal Medicine Course and by 9/28/08 for Acupuncture Phase 2. To enjoy this special rate, rooms must be reserved through the conference coordinator when registering for the course. After these cutoff dates, rooms will be at market rate on a space available basis.
Recording: Audio, video recording and photography during the sessions will not be permitted.
