Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with its chief components of acupuncture and herbal medicine, is the oldest continuous healing tradition in the world. The courses are designed for physicians who desire sound fundamental acupuncture training and/or herbal medicine education. The acupuncture education program, initially offered in 1979 as a CME category I course, has the unique distinction of being the first acupuncture course for physicians in North America. Likewise, the herbal medicine training program has remained the only such comprehensive course (also CME category I) for American physicians.
